Louis joined Mallory after a year of travelling through various countries in South America, Asia, and Europe. He looks after our customers in Kenya and Tanzania, amongst many others. In 2016, Louis graduated from the University of Reading with a degree in politics and international relations, leading to a keen interest in current affairs. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling, trips to the local national park and making the most of his season ticket at Exeter City FC.

Robyn joined Mallory shortly after relocating from London to Devon, and is originally from South Africa. She mainly looks after our school customers in Zambia and Ghana. Robyn has a BComm degree in politics, philosophy and economics and has mainly worked in retail in finance and marketing. Robyn has recently gone back to ballet dancing and is keen on yoga and pilates. Robyn also enjoys exploring the coastlines of Southwest England and loves to travel.

Vic originally worked in warehouse team at Mallory International whilst completing his PhD in sociology at Exeter University. He went on to work for Mallory in Malawi for two months in 2013, after which he became a permanent member of the team, looking after schools customers in Malawi, Rwanda and Ghana. Vic later took on responsibility for managing Mallory’s accounts in Southeast Asia, a new market at the time. Vic now oversees the business development strategy for the business.

Zuri Van Rijswijk is part of our SE Asian team with responsibility for Malaysia. Zuri was born in Malaysia and has been immersed in the educational world, having worked alongside Gerry Slessenger in North Africa for the world’s largest educational corporate group. She is married to an outstanding educator, Martin, who has had headships in Egypt, Germany, Thailand, New Zealand and now Malaysia.
Zuri can speak Malay, Arabic and Tamil with English of course and will be responsible for bringing Mallory for Schools leading services to international schools, colleges and universities in Malaysia. She is based in Kuala Lumpur (which she knows very well) visiting new and potential customers.

Julian has been involved in export bookselling and educational supply for over 40 years, and has chaired both the export and the college and university groups of the Booksellers Association. He has been chairman of Batch.co.uk, the UK book trade’s payment allocation and clearing system. He has sat on the knowledge and information advisory committee of the British Council, was a director of Book Tokens Ltd for 20 years, and was for some years the bookselling representative on the international board of the UK Publishers Association. He is honorary vice-president for life of the Booksellers Association.
