Fidelis Katongo has been Mallory’s representative since 2006. His daughter, Misozi Zondi, has just joined him to share the representation. Their family have been well known in the book trade in Zambia for a number of years.

Niles Nathaniel owns the Triple N Book Center in Castries, and is a well known figure in school supply in the island. Mallory bid with Triple N, and successfully completed in a very short time, a major textbook contract in August - September 2005.
Arthur is the Mallory representative in Rwanda. He has helped us tender for a number of tertiary projects, with significant success and he currently also handles our business in the Eastern DRC.
Moses Mutumba represents Mallory in Uganda with a precision and efficiency all his own. Both he and Sarah Nassuna (right) have helped us to develop the Ugandan market into one of our best. The range of customers is very wide, from leading tertiary institutions to specialist and educational projects.

Chief Joop Berkhout, who established Safari Books Limited, has been a major figure - even the major figure - in Nigerian bookselling for very many years. He is the country’s representative who, with Safari Books, represents Mallory for supply of books and teaching resources, and Swets for journals.
Gerry brings to Mallory over 35 years’ experience in educational procurement and logistics. He has managed two supply companies in the UK and Africa and has also worked for the USA’s largest educational corporation in International sales.

Tafesse Solomon represents Mallory International in Ethiopia. Sue joined Mallory in 2015 to assist the warehouse team with its growing activity. She became a full-time staff member in April 2017 as Warehouse assistant. She previously worked for British department store House of Fraser as a liaison officer in relation to stock control.
Mick Joined Mallory in October 2017, to assist the warehouse team with its growing activity and became a full-time staff member in April 2019. He previously worked as wood parquet floor installer.
In his spare time, Mick, an accomplished musician, plays several instruments, and also produces music.
Robert Baxter took up an appointment as Warehouse Assistant in October 2010. Robert is also a keen photographer, with various examples of his work on this website.
Christian Hardinge-Walsh took over as Warehouse Manager in July 2010, and has been responsible for a substantial reorganisation of the warehouse systems to deal with increasing turnover.
Louis joined the Mallory Schools Team in February 2019 after a year of travelling through various countries in South America, Asia and Europe. He looks after our customers in Namibia, Kenya and Tanzania.
In 2016, Louis graduated from the University of Reading with a degree in Politics and International Relations, leading to a keen interest in current affairs.
In Louis’ spare time, he enjoys travelling and making the most of his season ticket at Exeter City, one of the local football teams.
Naomi joined the Mallory’s Accounts Team in January 2018.
She has a Level 2 Certificate in Accounting.
In her spare time Naomi loves being with her young family and her friends.
Alicia Schrenzel joined Mallory’s Academic & Business Customers Team in November 2018. She is responsible for our customers in Senegal, Rwanda and Ghana. Alicia, a French national, graduated in Communication Studies from Montpellier University, in France. In 2014 she left France for some new adventures, working and travelling in Australia and Canada. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling and cooking.
Magali joined Mallory International in September 2013 and is part of our International School Team.
She left France in 2001 and has a Business Enterprise Degree from Plymouth University. She is the main contact for schools in French speaking countries.
Noelia joined the Mallory Schools Team in November 2018, after arriving to the United Kingdom in September of the same year. She mainly looks after our school customers in Uganda and Eswatini (formerly Swaziland).
Noelia has a degree in International Trade and worked in a customs office in Argentina, her country of origin.
In Noelia’s spare time she enjoys traveling and getting to know different places and cultures.
Olivia joined Mallory’s Schools Team in February 2017, after 5 years teaching French and Spanish at a secondary school. She is fluent in French, Spanish and Italian and loves to travel so she can use her languages as much as possible. She takes care of the customers in central and eastern Europe and Rwanda. Olivia is a keen scuba diver and loves to spend her free time cooking and visiting the beaches around Devon.
Haydn joined Mallory International in February 2012 and is part of the Tenders Team after working in the Academic and Business Customers team for two years. He has a BA in Ancient History and Archaeology and recently spent six years in Berlin, Germany working as a journalist and website editor.
Eduardo joined Mallory in November 2018 and, being a native Spanish speaker, is responsible for our customers in Spain.
Eduardo graduated in Building Engineering in Spain. Prior to joining the Mallory, he worked at an insourcing/outsourcing company evaluating the quality of the customer service.
Eduardo loves music, and he enjoys cooking, playing different sports and travelling.
Ivelina joined Mallory in November 2018 as part of the Academic & Business Customers Team, and takes care of customers in Tanzania, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Mauritius. Ivelina graduated with an MA in English Literature and History from the University of Dundee in Scotland before relocating to Exeter, England. Ultimately, Ivelina would describe herself as a citizen of the world, and most enjoys spending her time reading, travelling and exploring new crafts.
Jan joined us in April 2017 when we acquired the educational side of ADC Blackfire, Prague. Jan has years of experience working with International Schools and now looks after all our customers in the Czech Republic, Slovenia and Austria.
Jan attended Ghent University in Belgium and then graduated with a master’s degree in Economics and Rural Development at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague.
In Jan’s spare time he enjoys travelling, modern art, tennis, good food and spending time with his friends.
David started working at Mallory in June 2014 and is a member of the Academic and Business Customers Team, working mainly with the supply of academic journals and magazines; as well as frequent maintenance on company databases including the LPEB catalogue and the Schoolbooks Manager.
Gabby joined Mallory in February 2019. She is looking after our increasing administrative activity.
She has a degree in Fine Art and Photography from the University of Gloucestershire. Prior to joining Mallory, Gabby lived in London and worked for the renowned performing arts centre, the Barbican Centre.
In her spare time, Gabby enjoys travelling, reading and practising yoga.
Evie joined the Mallory Schools Team in January 2019. She looks after our customers in Ghana and Zambia.
Evie graduated from the University of Exeter in 2018, completing her BA (Hons) Geography. She enjoys challenges, such as climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. Prior to university, Evie was awarded a scholarship from the Royal Geographical Society which allowed her to conduct independent research in the Galapagos Islands; to undertake coral reef and fish diving surveys in Malaysia; and to teach Social Studies and Science in the Maldives.
In her spare time, Evie enjoys cooking, powerlifting, travelling and is a keen scuba-diver.
Vic originally joined the warehouse team at Mallory whilst completing his PhD in Sociology at Exeter University. After working for Mallory in Malawi for two months he became a permanent member of the Schools Team where his customers include schools in Malawi, Rwanda, The Philippines and Hong Kong.
Jacky Beauchamp joined Mallory International in June 2009, and is in charge of journal subscriptions and consolidation. She is the main contact point for any questions relating to the pricing and supply of periodicals.
Annie joined Mallory International in April 2014 and works for the Academic and Business Customers team. She studied English and Spanish at the University of La Sorbonne in Paris where she lived, then worked for several international organisations. In 2003, she left France to settle on the volcanic island of Montserrat in the West Indies where she taught French for 6 years before relocating to the UK.
Rachel joined Mallory International in 2006 with a BA Hons in Hispanic Studies and after two years with us took a year’s break in Mexico. She rejoined Mallory in 2009 as our school supplies executive and has been responsible for developing the educational resources side of the business, building relationships with suppliers and coordinating the School Books Manager database. She is fluent in Spanish.
Mathieu joined Mallory International in March 2009. He has business qualifications in both France and the UK. He is now managing the Academic and Business Customers team.
Sancha Rees joined Mallory in September 2003. She is the key contact for non-tender book quotations and fulfilment, particularly in Ethiopia, but also in other countries in anglophone Africa. She also plays a major role in the preparation and fulfilment of major tenders.
Sophie joined the company in October 2007. She has substantial experience of Africa, including four years as both a director and project manager for an NGO (Azafady) in Madagascar. She has been an executive director of Mallory since 2011, and is in charge of staffing, training, and organisational matters. She also looks after key customer accounts, particularly in Uganda, Zambia and Malawi.
Ulrike has 30 years' experience of export bookselling. She ran the Journals Department and later the Overseas Books operations of the Osiandersche Buchhandel in Tuebingen, Germany for many years, and subsequently headed the automation unit of the Library Supply Division at John Smith & Son in Glasgow. She leads the tertiary supply operations of Mallory International, and is in charge of the company's systems and automation development.
Julian has been Chairman and Chief Executive of Mallory International since June 2002. He has been involved in export bookselling for over 25 years, and has chaired both the Export and the College and University Groups of the Booksellers Association. He has been Chairman of Batch.co.uk, the UK Book Trade's payment allocation and clearing system. He has sat on the Knowledge and Information Advisory Committee of the British Council, and was a Director of Book Tokens Ltd for 20 years. He is honorary Vice-President for Life of the Booksellers Association, and is the bookselling representative on the International Board of the Publishers Association of the United Kingdom.
